Disciplines We Teach

From the graceful flow of aerial fabric and sling to the dynamic strength of straps and rope, we offer disciplines for every interest and skill level.

Whether you’re spinning in a lyra hoop, perfecting pole technique, or flying through the air on trapeze, our aerial classes build strength, flexibility, and confidence while you learn breathtaking skills in a supportive environment.

Our ground-based classes explore captivating disciplines including the rolling elegance of Cyr wheel, the precision of tight wire, and the explosive power of trampoline and tramp wall.

Build your foundation with flexibility training and hand balancing, or try our mixed ground classes to sample multiple skills. These classes develop core strength, body awareness, and impressive tricks that defy gravity… no height required!

Prerequisites vary by class level and discipline. Most beginner classes have no prerequisites, while intermediate and advanced classes require prior experience or coach approval.

All students must have a current waiver on file to participate. For safety, coaches may limit participation if a student is ill, fatigued, injured, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Students under 16 must meet specific requirements to join adult classes. If you’re unsure whether a class is right for you, contact us at info@necenterforcircusarts.org or speak with your coach.

Yes! Drop-ins are available during the first week of a session, subject to space and coach approval. Email info@necenterforcircusarts.org to request a drop-in spot.

If you’d like to try a class after the first week, contact us at least 48 hours in advance and we’ll check with the coach to see if it’s a good fit. We’ll bill you for the drop-in class before you participate.

Absolutely! Family and friends are welcome to watch classes from the lobby or any designated viewing area.

For safety reasons, only students and NECCA staff are permitted in the training spaces. If you’d like to take photos or video, please ask for permission from the front desk or a coach first.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled class time to check in, store your belongings, and get settled. This helps ensure you’re ready when class begins.

Students who arrive more than 10 minutes late may have their participation modified or limited for safety reasons.

Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that’s easy to move in and stays put when you’re upside down. Avoid anything with zippers, belts, buckles, or loose fabric that could get tangled in equipment.

We recommend you remove all jewelry that can be removed, and cover anything that can’t. Tie back long hair, and remove street shoes before entering the training space.

Some classes may have additional requirements (like long sleeves or specific footwear). Your coach will let you know if this applies to your class.
