Private lessons at NECCA offer one-on-one (or small group) instruction tailored to your goals, experience level, and interests.
Whether you’re brand new to circus or looking to refine specific skills with focused coaching, private lessons are a flexible way to learn at your own pace.
To request a private lesson, you’ll fill out a short inquiry form so we can match you with the right coach and space.

If you are seeking continued lessons with a coach you’ve previously worked with, you’re welcome to reach out to them directly instead of submitting a new inquiry form.
Our pricing for many disciplines is as follows:
We are now also offering Physical Therapy (including cupping & needling), Athletic Trainer services, and Pilates! Special pricing applies.
Do I need my own apparatus?
We usually have apparatus to choose from but do encourage folks to bring their own if they prefer.
There will usually be a short equipment inspection to make sure everything is good to go.

Is there an age limit and do I need experience?
There is no age limit and you don’t need any experience to book a private lesson!
I just need someone to pull my act. Do you offer that service?
Yes, as a part of Reserved Training with Support. Please fill out this form to reserve training time with a coach.
Many of our advanced and professional students need a support person in order to practice their craft. For example, a puller for an aerial act on our butterfly lift or our mechanical advantage lines, a safety line holder for swinging trapeze, or someone to hand them props during a run through of an act.
If you would like to add Training Support, this is available for 50% off the private lesson fee ($49.50/1 hour). Please email our Scheduler at scheduler@necenterforcircusarts.org.

Do you do online lessons?
We can work with you on anything you have access to. If you have a home studio, have access to equipment elsewhere, or if you just have your living room, we can challenge and inspire you in your workout. Once your lesson is scheduled we’ll send you a link to the Zoom meeting for your lesson. It’s easy!
